Well done and congratulations

Seniors from our Warwick, Florida and Greenwood Lake school systems will be graduating this coming weekend. It has been an incredibly challenging year for these young people, but in many ways it has made them stronger. They have learned they can overcome any challenge and still excel in all they do.

Congratulations to two outstanding volunteer firefighters from our Town:

Charlie Niemann served for 56 years as a firefighter and was for the past 28 years the Orange County Battalion 6 Deputy Fire Coordinator, answering the call 24/7/365, never asking who or why but only where do you need me? Thank you, Charlie, for that service, and thanks to your family who sacrificed time spent with you so you could serve others.

Warwick Police Officer Jason Braisier was sworn in to fill Charlie’s shoes as Battalion 6 Deputy Fire Commissioner, which is a well-deserved honor. Congratulations, Jason.

The Warwick Fire Department’s 2021 Carnival will take place from Wednesday, June 23rd through Saturday, June 26th, located at Warwick Veteran’s Memorial Park. The four-day fair will have carnival rides for all ages, fantastic festival food and treats, carnival games & prizes, and fun for the entire family.

Pay one Price ride wristbands are sold every night. Hours are Wednesday – Friday 6 to 10 p.m.; Saturday 6:00 to 10:30 p.m.

The carnival will hold a fireworks display on Saturday night, June 26, at 10 p.m. In the event of rain, the fireworks will be held the following night, June 27th.

This event will be following COVID-19 safety practices, the event asks for guests to wear face masks and practice social distancing when possible.

We are still seeking suggestions for a new name for the former Kutz Camp property. If you would like to suggest a name please email it to townhall@townofwarwick.org.
