Warwick. Sustainable Warwick hosts seminar about electric vehicles on April 29

Wondering if an electric vehicle is right for you? This is an opportunity to learn from the experiences of local EV drivers
More EVs are driving around Orange County. Many wonder what one is actually like to drive, maintain and keep charged. Buying a new vehicle is a big decision.
Despite short-term uncertainty over tariffs and the future of currently available EV rebates and prices, the long-term picture is clear: EVs are steadily becoming the car of the future.
On Tuesday, April 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Sustainable Warwick will host the second event of its Neighborly Seminar Series, an opportunity for Warwick residents to learn from neighbors what it’s like to drive an EV.
“Lots of people have range anxiety concerns about driving EVs,” said Michael Helme of Sustainable Warwick. “But the survey we’ve conducted of local EV drivers has made it really clear: EV owners themselves rarely have range anxiety. This seminar will be a great opportunity for anyone considering an EV to listen to local EV drivers and ask them questions.”
Albert Wisner Public Library is located at One McFarland Drive, Warwick. To register for the seminar, visit the library, call the Library Help Desk at (845) 986-1047 (ext. 4), or go to the library’s website: albertwisnerlibrary.org/events/.
