Orange County seeks nominations for its 26th annual Human Rights Awards
Goshen. Nominees may include activists, educators, leaders, volunteers or organizations that have promoted civil rights in Orange County.

The Orange County Human Rights Commission and County Executive Steve Neuhaus have announced the 26th annual Human Rights Awards.
The commission is accepting nominations for outstanding individuals and groups who have advanced local human rights.
The Human Rights Awards recognize those who have demonstrated a commitment to equality, justice and inclusion through their actions, advocacy and leadership.
Nominees may include activists, educators, leaders, volunteers or organizations that have promoted civil rights in Orange County.
Nominations are due by April 30 and can be submitted using this form: bit.ly/2025HumanRightsAwards.
“Orange County has always been a place where diversity, equity, and justice are valued,” said Neuhaus. “The Human Rights Awards celebrate the extraordinary individuals and organizations who are working tirelessly to make our community more compassionate and inclusive for all. I am proud to support this important recognition and look forward to honoring those who continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others in Orange County.”

The Orange County Human Rights Commission works to promote human rights and ensure that all individuals are treated with dignity and respect. The commission strives to protect civil rights and eliminate discrimination, inequality and injustice through advocacy, education and outreach.
