Warwick Rotarians and the Warwick Valley High School Interact Club will host a “Bowl for a Cause” community fund raiser next month to help prevent suicide and drug abuse.

Plan to spend a couple of fun hours, on Sunday, March 15, at Pin Street bowling alley, 154 Route 94 South, just across from Warwick ShopRite. Individuals or teams of all skill levels are invited to participate.

This event is being held to bring awareness to the causes of very serious problems and support four local organizations whose nonprofit missions address Suicide and Drug Abuse Prevention efforts.

Proceeds from this bowling fund raiser will go to Warwick American Legion Post 214, Warwick VFW Post 4662, Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Council of Orange County (ADAC) and National Alliance of Mental Illness of Orange County (NAMI).

Registration will be from noon to 1 p.m. and bowling from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

The event organizers thank the eight Corporate Sponsors: Lazear, Smith and Vanderplaat Funeral Home, Lynch Wealth Strategies, Stage Law, Orange County Bank & Trust, The Breezy restaurant, State Farm-Ashish Anand, Leyland Alliance and Green Team Realty.

Event Chairs for “Bowl for a cause,” are Warwick Rotary President Elect Edward Lynch and Dr. David Dempster.
