Wayne Clarence Mills passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home in Chester. He was 63 years old.
The son of William A. Mills Sr. and Minnie Edna Mills, Wayne was born on June 18, 1961, in Ramapo.
Wayne attended Monroe-Woodbury High School, worked in maintenance for IBM during his teenage years and worked hard all of his life as an exceptional tinsmith.
He enjoyed fishing with friends and family, he loved his dogs, Gizmo and Muggsy, who he shared many years with, he liked to work on cars and motorcycles and will always be remember as a happy, friendly, loving man who had a warm welcoming smile.
Wayne is survived by his beloved older brothers, Norman A. Mills and Glen H. Mills, as well as his dearly loved step-children Kenneth Lee Leight, Matthew Adam Leight and Kasandra Janine Marie Frye, and their children.
Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Marie Elizabeth R. Mills, who he loved dearly, as well as his brothers William A. Mills Jr. and Roland L. Mills.
Wayne will be missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
Memorial visiting will be held on Sunday, April 13, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Zygmunt-Murtie Funeral Home, 4 Oak St., Greenwood Lake. A memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
