With deep sadness the family of Ann Marie McGregor announces her passing on April 2, 2025. She died peacefully at Schervier Pavilion Nursing Home in Warwick.

Born in Brooklyn, Ann Marie McGregor moved to Warwick at the age of four with her beloved parents, Gennaro (known as George) and Anna (nee DiMarco) Cantone.

After graduating from St. John’s Catholic School in Goshen, Ann Marie earned a business and music degree from Marywood College. She worked in finance as a stock researcher prior to her marriage to Rob Roy McGregor of San Diego, California.

In her later years of her life, she enjoyed working as a flight attendant for United Airlines.

Ann Marie resided in Coronado, California, for many years before moving to Caswell Beach, N.C., in 2021. She is a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Southport, N.C.

Her family’s statement reads: “Ann Marie loved music, especially dancing the polka. She also enjoyed playing the French horn and glockenspiel. Ann Marie loved the ocean and sea gulls and was always up for antique hunting. Although she traveled near and far as a flight attendant, she was always happy to return home to her most favorite thing: spending time with her beloved family.”
