Orange County will have its first bookstore crawl this year, during the weekend of April 25–27.

A bookstore crawl is a fun way to explore local independent bookstores within a limited time frame and connect with other local book lovers along the way.

Participants can download and print their book crawl passport, or pick one up at any participating bookstore.

The goal of the crawl is to visit all eight participating bookstores in three days, between Friday, April 25, and Sunday, April 27.

At each location, participants can get their passport stamped or signed. After collecting all 8 stamps or signatures, participants can bring their completed passport into any participating bookstore during the month of May for additional discounts.

The following bookstores are participating:

• Blue Fox Books, 49 W. Main St., Walden

• Eureka Books and More, 3 Romers Alley, Sugar Loaf

• From Beyond Books, 65A Main St., Pine Bush

• Golden Hour Books, 181 Broadway, Newburgh

• Good Books, 284 Main St., Cornwall

• Kulture Cafe, 2 N. Main St., Harriman

• Montgomery Book Exchange, 84 Clinton St., Montgomery

• Well Worn Books, 7 North St., Middletown
