Warwick brothers and World War II veterans Don and Warren McFarland will recognize American prisoners of war and those missing in action with a POW/MIA Empty Chair during the Sept. 8 flag retirement event at American Legion Post 214 in Warwick. The empty chair, displayed at all official American Legion meetings, is a physical reminder of the thousands of Americans still unaccounted for from all wars and conflicts involving America.
