I am writing this letter to urge all Warwick voters to really think about the vote you are about to cast for the next Warwick town judge.
There are two candidates for that position. Christine Stage, a Democrat, and Nancy DeAngelo, a Republican.
I am asking you to cast aside those labels and vote for what is best for Warwick.
Although a nice lady, Nancy DeAngelo is a terrible judge. She is nasty to almost all who appear in her court. She does not know the law and her decisions, more often than not, are decided by who is in front of her, rather than what is right.
Christine Stage, on the other hand, knows the law and has tried thousands of cases in her career. She is even tempered and very knowledgeable.
All of this is my opinion, but is shared by every attorney with whom I have spoken over the last twenty years. Ask your attorney, or for that matter, any attorney and get their opinion.
Ask why after a number of years as Village of Greenwood Lake judge, she was voted out by an overwhelming vote. I have been watching her antics on the bench for twenty years. Enough is enough.
Do not let the Warwick Republican Committee pick your judge. Sweeton and his gang have dictated who should get elected for far too long. Please do not vote for the party. Vote for Warwick.
I urge all who voted for me in the Republican primary to vote for a good judge, Christine Stage.
