Thanks to the Rampe family, the Town of Warwick has a new kayak launch area on Wickham Lake

Thanks to the generosity of the Rampe family, the Town of Warwick has completed a new kayak launch area on Wickham Lake.

The launch is in memory of former Town Supervisor Joe Rampe’s wife Elizabeth “Betty” Rampe, an avid kayaker who enjoyed the beauty and diversity of our town’s natural environment.

We are very grateful that Joe and his family chose our beautiful Wickham Woodlands as the place to pay tribute to this remarkable lady.
