Park Avenue Elementary School will be celebrating Veterans Day virtually again this year, in keeping with the Warwick Valley Central School District’s COVID-19 safety standards, based on the Orange County Department of Public Health guidelines.
Please disregard any previous notices in local publications which communicate an open invitation for veterans to come to Park Ave. for this year’s event, as this information was not the intended communication from the WVCSD.
While Park Ave students and faculty very much regret that their traditional breakfast celebration is once again canceled, they are nonetheless very excited to share the video presentation which will be created to share with local veterans, their families and the community.
Please look for this creative and heart-felt tribute in the week ahead, as we celebrate our brave and beloved veteran community.
