Mary Collura 'brings professionalism to volunteering and would make an excellent addition to the Village Board'
I write in order to urge your readers residing in the Village of Warwick to cast their vote for Village Trustee candidate Mary Collura.
I'm delighted to support Mary's candidacy in spite of my last residing in the Village in 1960. I lived at 17 Oakland Avenue, now the location of Lezear-Smith & Vander Platt Memorial Home.
I did not receive a jar of Mary's award-winning pickles, so this letter is not a quid pro quo.
While working on a bicycle-day event last summer at the Warwick Community Center, I was exposed to Mary's skills in design and graphics. My reaction at every meeting was: "You did all that?"
Mary, both young and energetic, certainly brings professionalism to volunteering and would make an excellent addition to the Village Board.
Election day is Wednesday, March 18, around the time we all receive our invitation to participate in the census. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and voting takes place at the Goodwill Hook & Ladder Company on Church Street Extension off Forester Avenue.
I hope your Village readers share my high opinion of Mary Collura, and I look forward to her service as Village Trustee.
Best Regards,
Tony Houston
