James Gerstner and Russell Kowal 'have been the consummate team players'
I have had the distinct honor to serve on the Town Board for 18 years with James Gerstner and eight years with Russell Kowal.
These two individuals have been the consummate team players, giving generously of their time and resources whenever I have needed help solving a tough issue facing our town.
Their business knowledge, job skills and just plain common sense have helped me do my job as supervisor much more effectively.
Together as a team we have worked hard to expand services, protect our town from overdevelopment, embrace renewable energy and keep our town taxes stable, the lowest of any town in Orange County that funds a police department.
Our successes these past 18 years have not been one person alone, but the result of each individual board member bringing his unique skill and perspective to a problem and then working as a part of a team to solve the problem.
I will need that strong team to face the challenges ahead, especially as we wrestle with diminishing resources and work to redevelop the new business/technology park at the closed correctional facility.
I ask for your vote for James Gerstner and Russell Kowal during early voting from October 26- November 3 at Town Hall or on Election Day, November 5, at your normal polling place.
