Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge to honor departed members on Dec. 1

The Greenwood Lake Elks Lodge No. 2067 is inviting all Elks, wives and the general public to join us on Sunday, Dec. l, to honor the departed members of their Lodge.
Our laws decree that we set aside the first Sunday of December for this memorable event.
Most everyone in this community knows of the Elks and the work that we do to help those in need, our support of youth and community activities and our veterans programs.
On this day we pause to remember for a moment those who gave their time to accomplish our goals over the years whom are no longer with us.
This most impressive ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with a prayer and the placing of a wreath at their memorial stone.
The Lodge Officers will then continue the ceremony indoors. Immediately following the ceremony a collation will be served to all those in attendance, compliments of the Lodge.
Those unable to attend are asked to please pause a moment in memory of the departed members of its Lodge.
