WVT Communications names new president of the Warwick Valley Telephone Company

Warwick — Duane Albro, president and CEO of WVT Communications, Inc. announced this week that Virginia Quackenbush has been designated President of the Warwick Valley Telephone Company, a division of WVT Communications. Her duties will include overseeing all telephone operations in the areas where Warwick Valley Telephone Co. is the incumbent franchise telephone provider, including Warwick, Pine Island, the Village of Florida as well as Vernon and Upper Greenwood Lake in New Jersey. The appointment is intended to enable Albro who remains president and CEO of WVT Communications and its affiliate companies, to shift his focus toward strategic growth of the overall business. Quackenbush, who served as WVT Communications director of residential marketing and sales, has more than 32 years experience in nearly every facet of telecommunications at WVT. “I’m very excited about this new opportunity,” she said. “I love our customers and our employees.
