Warwick superintendent co-authors article in American School Board Journal

WARWICK-The American School Board Journal has published an article co-written by Warwick Superintendent of Schools Dr. Joseph L. Natale and consultant Richard Castallo that discusses how the school board, the administration and staff worked through their disagreements several years ago. The article penned by Natale and Castallo is titled "A Climate of Understanding." It covers topics related to the philosophy of governance within a school district and is focused on two questions n what the board and superintendent wanted for the school district and community and what the best way was for achievement. The article documents the steps that were taken to improve the effectiveness of governance in Warwick schools, focusing on specific goals and a mission centered on student achievement.
