Warwick sTudents earn $2,500 award; then donate the money to Farm Aid

Students at Warwick Valley High School were recognized by MSG Varsity and Cablevisionís Power to Learn for their fund-raising efforts to help Warwick Valley farmers recover after the devastation of Tropical Storms Irene and Lee. The students were presented with a $2,500 check that was donated to Warwick Valley Farm Aid 2011 and $500 for furtherance of the schoolís charitable activities. State Sen. David Carlucci and Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt also participated in the event.
