Warwick Democrats endorse Richard Farina for town justice
WARWICK-The Warwick Town Democratic Committee has unanimously endorsed Richard Farina as its candidate Warwick town justice in November against incumbent Peter Barlet, a Republican. Farina is currently the Village of Warwick justice; he recently announced he was changing his party registration from Republican to Democrat after Warwick Democrats approached him about a run for town justice. In a statement released after its July meeting, the Warwick Democratic Committee cited Farina's extensive experience in court administration and his reputation as a considerate and fair judge. Previously, the committee announced its endorsements of Michael Edelstein for county executive, Judge Debra Keidaisch for Family Court judge, Paula Medina for county clerk, Janne Sommer, Noel Spencer and Cedric Glasper for county legislators in the 3rd, 8th, and 10th Legislative Districts, respectively, and Denise Bulnes for Warwick town clerk.
