WARWICK - The Warwick Art League Visiting Artist Series will present a watercolor painting demonstration by nationally recognized painter Eli Rosenthal on Sunday, May 2  from 2 - 4 p.m., in the Senior Room of Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway. Rosenthal's paintings reflect the spontaneity and freshness of truly gifted watercolorists. Watching Rosenthal develop his painting in an ‘ala prima' (wet into wet) manner will make this a valuable and inspiring learning opportunity. In his own words, he states, "I paint to delight the eye. I aim to combine the best features of abstraction and representational imagery with strong design, vibrant color and a loose style." Rosenthal continually wins awards for his paintings and is represented by the Piermont Fine Arts Gallery in Piermont, N.Y. You can see his work at www.elirosenthal.com This event is free and open to the public.
