Walk is ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer'

WOODBURY-Hudson Valley residents can join the fight against breast cancer at the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" on Sunday, Oct. 16. The 5-K non-competitive walk will begin at 9 a.m. at Woodbury Common Premium Outlet in Central Valley. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. A new national report from the American Cancer Society, published this week in "Breast Cancer Facts and Figures 2005-2006," finds there are "strides" being made in the fight against the disease.
