The Pear Tree brings on the buzz with The Espresso

WARWICK — The Pear Tree will be bringing a touch of Soho to Railroad Avenue with “The Espresso Event,” from 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. The event is to celebrate the store’s introduction of the FrancisFrancis espresso machines and Illy coffees. Silvia Beam from Illy Coffee in New York will be on hand to demonstrate how to make the perfect cup of espresso, using specially created logo cups and sugar sticks. Delectables from Ed Fava will be served along with espresso, coffee and mini cappuccinos, while Italian music in the background will lend a touch of Italy to the afternoon. Customers purchasing a machine or coffee will receive a booklet of espresso recipes, and another booklet, “Espresso Delectables,” featuring favorite Italian cookie and biscotti recipes from the Catering House of Edward Fava. The cafe will offer the FrancisFrancis X-1 and FrancisFrancis X-3 espresso machines, as well as Illy pods, coffees, and espresso cup sets created by the Who’s Who of the art world.
