XCEL silver team finishes first at state gymnastics championships

The Kennett girls XCEL silver team placed first at the New York State championships held March 17 at SUNY Brockport. Thirty-three teams throughout the state participated in the competition. Team members Allison Torres and Molly Connolly qualified to be part of the New York state regional team and team member Delilah Kronimous qualified to be on the regional "All Star" team. Coach John Smales started the XCEL program for Kennett School of Gymnastics in the summer of 2015.
