The Section IX Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship game held at the Thomas P. Lorgan Field in Warwick was won by the #1 ranked Warwick Valley Wildcats over the #3 ranked Central Valley Vikings by a convincing score of 18–6.
This is the seventh Section IX title for the boys, and their third straight. They were section champs in ‘09, ’10, ’14, ’15, ’18, ‘19 and now ‘21 (the 2020 season was canceled by the pandemic).
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team were Section IX champs in ‘17, ‘18 and ‘19.
