Warwick. Warwick Valley High School Student-Athlete of the Week: Kevin Walter

Senior standout Kevin Walter has been selected as this week’s WVHS Student-Athlete of the Week, sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency in Warwick.

Kevin is a three-year midfielder and team captain of the Warwick Valley lacrosse team. He has also been selected as WVHS Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the Orange County League.

Kevin is graduating in the top five of his graduating class, with a GPA of 103.

He also is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, and leader of the Robotics Club.

Kevin will be attending Clarkson University in the fall, where he will be studying mechanical engineering.

Kevin is the son of Samantha and Scott Walter of Warwick. His brothers – Ryan, an RIT graduate, Sean, a UNH graduate, and Ben, a WVHS sophomore – are all standout Wildcat student-athletes.
