Varsity volleyball player Stephanie Roberts chosen 'Student-Athlete of the Week'

WARWICK — Stephanie Roberts has been named Warwick Valley High School's "Student–Athlete of the Week" through the program sponsored by the Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Agency.

The senior middle hitter is a three -ear varsity volleyball player and has played volleyball since the seventh grade.

Stephanie and the Lady Wildcats Volleyball Team finished their season as Section 9 Class A finalists. The team defeated Minisink in the semi–finals before falling to Cornwall.

Stephanie also is actively involved in the high school where she is a member of the Interact Club, Environmental Club and the Leadership Academy.

She is a candidate for selection to the National Honor Society for Scholars in Orange County.

Stephanie maintains a 93 grade point average and plans to continue her education next year at Manhattan College in its Pre–Med Program.

Stephanie is the daughter of Gillian and Allan Roberts of Warwick. Her brother Allan is a 2013 graduate and her brother Joseph is in the seventh grade.
