The 1-2-3’s of Warwick Valley ski racing

— The Warwick Valley Ski team is on fire:
ONE: Simone Sullivan, a sophomore and only child, once again won the division and gets a ticket straight to the State Level NYSPHSAA (NYS Public High School Athletic Association).
She’s won all of her races within the season and continued to win the double race at Belleayre on Feb. 6.
TWO: Julia and Claire Priebke, sophomore and 8th grade, sisters that are tearing up the season, have secured places to compete at Sections at Hunter Mountain next Tuesday, Feb. 12.
THREE: The Hansen siblings - senior Matthew, sophomore Christopher seventh-grader Hallie - will all compete at Sections at Hunter Mountain next Tuesday.
Matthew won his division and will join Simone at the NYSPHSAA championships.
MORE: Dan Keneally, a sophomore has consistently placed at the top of his races along with the rest of the varsity team: Molly Berman, Tristan Bieling, Georgia Krasniewicz, Jack Landau, Granger Ottley, Conor Finn and Declan Tobin have torn up the mountain.
