Simone Sullivan named Warwick Valley Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week
Warwick. She is a five-year member of the division champion girls ski team that will compete for a section IX title at Hunter Mountain this week.
Warwick High School is proud to recognize junior Simone Sullivan as this weeks’ Bill Garcia Agency Allstate Student–Athlete of the Week.
Simone is a five-year member of the division champion girls ski team that will compete for a section IX title at Hunter Mountain this week.
She is the three-time division II alpine ski overall champion (slalom and giant slalom) and finished in the top 20 overall at the NYSPHSAA Championships held at Bristol Mountain in the Rochester area.
Simone also is an outstanding runner on the track. She competed in the 2019 NYSPHSAA state championship in the 4 X 800 meter relay.
Simone is an excellent student whose cumulative weighted average is 103.6 and her junior year average is 105.93. Her schedule includes honors courses in English and physics and advanced placement courses in chemistry and history. Simone is enrolled in college algebra and college trigonometry through SUNY Orange.
Simone is a five-year NYSPHSAA Scholar–Athlete, student senate treasurer and is a Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society member. She also is a member of the volunteer junior EMS in Warwick.
Simone is the daughter of Usha and Robert Sullivan of Warwick.
