Senior Games founder retires

    Goshen — The Orange County Senior Games committee honored retiring Parks Commissioner Graham Skea with a “Lifetime Spirit of the Games Award” on Saturday, Sept. 17, during Games Day at the Thomas Bull Memorial Park. Skea is a founder of the Orange County Senior Games, one of the largest in New York State. He was presented with the award by co-founder Mary Lou McCarville, assistant director of the Office for the Aging, and present co-chairs Anne Coon and Tom Quinlisk. McCarville cited Skea’s dedication and commitment to senior fitness during his 22-year duration. The Senior Games are held each year in September and run for two weeks.
