Haley Nelson chosen as Warwick Valley High School's 'Student-Athlete of the Week'

— Warwick Valley High School is proud to select senior Haley Nelson as this week's Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance "Student–Athlete of the Week."
The girls soccer and track athlete was a big contributor to the girls' Division title in soccer. Haley also is one of the leaders of the girls' outdoor track team.
She has been recognized by the NYSPHSAA as a scholar athlete for both soccer and track.
Haley is a member of the National Honor Society, has been involved in the Leadership Academy and has been active in the school band.
Haley is an outstanding student whose 93.5 grade point average has made her a top student–athlete in the district. She has taken Advanced Placement Government and Literature for college credit.
Haley plans to major in speech pathology and has narrowed her decision to SUNY New Paltz, Albany or Sacred Heart.
Haley is the daughter of Bobby Nelson and Caroline Cunningham of Warwick.
She has two sisters: Taylor (11th grade) and Rachel (5th grade). Her brother Robert is an 8th grader in the middle school.
