Golf classic raises $60,000 for hospital

    WARWICK-On Monday, Sept. 12, the 3rd Annual Golf Classic raised $60,000 for its sponsor, the Warwick Healthcare Campus of St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center. The golf outing was held at Wild Turkey and Crystal Springs, located at Crystal Springs Golf and Spa Resort in Hamburg, N.J. The hole-in-one prizes were a 2006 Chevrolet HHR, courtesy of Country Chevy Olds, and a 2005 Ford Conversion Van, courtesy of Leo Kaytes Ford. Golfers also received a variety of amenities and were treated to breakfast and lunch, an all-day open bar and a gourmet dinner. Raffles, prizes and awards presentations were part of the afternoon activities. Breakfast and lunch was served courtesy of the Kennedy Companies and Provident Bank. Superior Surfacing provided the golf carts. Dinner was courtesy of Smith Barney. The platinum sponsor was Warwick Savings Foundation, the gold sponsor was Laborers Local 17, and the silver sponsors were Armistead Mechanical; Bonacic, LoBiondo & Krahulik; Clifton, Budd and DeMaria; Country Chevrolet; Green Mountain Landscaping; Lazear-Smith & Vander Platt Memorial Home; Leo Kaytes Ford; Regional EMS; WVT Communications; and Warwick Emergency Physicians.
