In large and small ways last Sunday, people remembered what happened four years ago on Sept. 11, 2001. At left, Pierre Francois Wolfe of Warwick, former Sanfordville Elementary School student who was part of the class that designed the Circle of Peace memorial at the school, joins a few dozen others, below, for a moment of silence. Above, Ashley Doorman is held by her father, Robert Doorman, a volunteer firefighter from the Town of Newburgh, during ceremonies at the Orange County Park in Montgomery. Story and additional photos can be found on pages 40 and 41. Photos by Ignacio Acevedo
