Goshen — The new Twice Blessed Thrift Shoppe, a ministry of Goshen Christian School, offers the community good-quality merchandise at bargain prices while raising money for programs at the school. The store opened on Nov. 28 at 43 Route 17A in Goshen. It is open Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Referred to as “a recycling boutique,” the store has been decorated by manager Tracey Brooker of Warwick to give it an attractive atmosphere. The store features clothing for men, women, and children, costume jewelry, toys, books, linens, china, decorative items, and household items and gifts. Parent-volunteers from the school staff the store and offer friendly customer service. Donations of clean items in very good condition may be dropped off during normal business hours or on Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. No unscheduled donations will be accepted. The store will not accept computers, electronics, TVs, or children’s car seats. For furniture donations, call Brooker at 294-8604.
