New after-school horse program

    Goshen —Orion Dressage Academy is offering a new after-school horsemanship program. The academy defines dressage as a progressive systematic training method to develop relaxed harmony between horse and rider. Students will participate in 45-minute group lessons on horseback. The remaining time will be devoted to the proper care of performance horses. Each student must take one private lesson prior to the start of the program. Children must be at least eight years old. The eight-week program is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 7. Students can sign up for one or both weekly sessions.
