At a recent meeting of the Warwick Valley VFW Post 4662, the Warwick Fire Department presented a check to the VFW membership for $570.
This donation was received through the Hugs for Courage organization who initially received it for the Fire Department.
Because of its ever-present support for the veterans of the Warwick community, the Fire Department generously donated the funds to the VFW.
“Our sincere thanks goes out to the Fire Department for their generosity, which has exemplified the support we have received from the entire Warwick community,” the VFW Post 4662 said in its press release announcing the donation. “Thank you from Post 4662.”
