Warwick Valley Olive Oil Co. celebrates second anniversary and new online store

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Olive Oil Company, 20 Railroad Ave. in the Village of Warwick, is celebrating its second anniversary.
The owners would also like to announce the completion of their website and grand opening of their online store, created by marketing consultant Peter Lyon Hall of Warwick Info.
On Wednesday, Feb. 22, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owners Chris and Diane Zimmerli and Andrea Volter to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Two years ago three partners explained that they chose Warwick as an ideal place for their store because of their love for this area where they live, for its richness in historic charm, character and friendly people and for the many visitors who are also attracted to the Warwick area.
The Olive Oil tap room was inspired by an awareness of the healthy and flavor benefits of cooking with genuine extra virgin olive oils (EVOOs), traditional balsamic vinegars and spices.
And Warwick Valley Olive Oil Co. is able to obtain the best and freshest ingredients from around the world through an exclusive supplier having longterm relationships with premium producers.
The store is also one of a limited number in the country licensed to offer "Ultra-Premium" (UP) Extra Virgin olive oils in addition to a wide variety of the finest fused and infused EVOOs and balsamic vinegars.
These olive oils come from both northern and southern hemispheres where harvests are six months apart, enabling them to offer the most recently harvested and freshest oils.
You can now purchase products online and have them shipped anywhere in the continental United States. Orders of more than $100 will be shipped free.
The company also offers a flavor of the month for both oil and vinegar where clients receive a 10 percent discount and recipes for these flavors.
There is a loyalty program in place where for every 10 bottles you purchase the eleventh is free.
And all empty bottles, clean and dry, can be brought back and refilled at a discounted price.

Warwick Valley Olive Oil Co. is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
