Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene welcomes new pastors

WARWICK — On Dec. 1, the Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene welcomed new pastors Stephen and Christi Bennett.

The couple have been pastoring as a team since 1990. They bring experience as teachers and pastors in the Philippines, New Zealand, England and the United States in Massachusetts and New York.

While they are both academicians with doctoral degrees and publications in many theological journals, the Bennetts bring a fresh and energetic style to services focusing on God’s word.

Along with their four children (and a black dog), the Bennetts live in Cornwall.

They will move into the rectory next to the Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene after the completion of the current school year.

The Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene is located at 601 State Route 94 North in Warwick. Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m.
