Warwick. Town to hold an open house at the former site of the Kutz Camp this Saturday
Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton wishes to remind everyone that the Town will hold an open house at the former site of the Kutz Camp, 46 Bowen Road, this Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 4 p.m.
Masks and social distancing rules will be in effect.
Earlier this year the town agreed to pay $6.4 million to acquire the 85-acre property, a former summer camp, under its Community Preservation Plan.
The property consists of a lake, pools, tennis courts, outdoor and indoor spaces, cabins, a waste water system, wells and a trail system.
A suggestion box for the use of the park will be available and visitors will also have an opportunity to participate in a new name contest.
“You will have an opportunity to wander the property to imagine the possibilities of our newest park,” said Sweeton. ”Come out and help determine the future of Warwick’s newest asset.”
