| 03 Aug 2021 | 01:27

Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton recently announced that after a few setbacks in getting approval, the pools at the former Kutz Camp on Bowen Road have opened for town residents only as of Saturday, July 31.

And there will be no charge for use of the pools this season, which ends on Labor Day.

There are two pools in a picturesque setting with water depths ranging from two to seven feet. The pools are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.

Time in the pool area is limited to two hour blocks (10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., 2 to 4 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.) for this season so that as many residents as possible can enjoy them.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Proof of residency is required and you are encouraged to bring your own chairs. There are also areas for picnicking. .

Follow the sign on the right to the pools and the parking area is just a short walk to the entrance.
