Warwick. Pet and family photos with Santa held at Fetch Bar and Grill
Dogs are always welcome at Fetch Bar and Grill.
And on Saturday, Nov. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 21, it was time for the Warwick Valley Humane Society’s annual “Pet photos with Santa,” event.
Because the Society’s Animal Shelter is temporarily closed for upcoming construction of its new facility, Suzyn Barron, president of the Humane Society, needed a new location.
“I turned to Fetch owner Adam Powers for help,” she said, “and he graciously agreed to host the event.”
Pet owners waited outside Fetch Bar and Grill at 48 Main St. in the Village of Warwick and professional photographer Kimberly Standish was again on hand to take photos of pets posing with Santa.
Barron and Humane Society Vice President Celia Ross served as “Santa’s helpers” by doing whatever it takes to make each pet pose for the camera.
Proceeds will be used to benefit the homeless pets at the shelter.
The Warwick Valley Humane Society’s temporary location at Ronald Reagan Boulevard, in Merchant Square, just off Kings Highway, is providing services by appointment only.
