Warwick. Opportunities and obstacles in the struggle for racial equality

    In honor of Black History Month, join the Town of Warwick Historian Dr. Richard Hull and Village of Warwick Historian Ivy Tulin as they discuss the era of Reconstruction, 1870s to the present in a virtual lecture on Sunday, Feb, 28, at 2 p.m.

    The program will touch upon how opportunities and obstacles in the struggle for racial equality rise and fall over the decades, and highlight advances made and lost over the last century.

    Hull is Professor Emeritus in History at NYU and author of the books, “People of the Valleys” and “People of the Valleys Revisited, History of Warwick, New York 1700-2005.”

    Tulin is a retired teacher and author of “Upon This Rock: The Episcopal Community of Warwick, NY.”
