Warwick. Neuhaus, Martucci, Brabenec host fund raiser for VFW Post 4662 at Yesterdays
Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus joined state Sen. Mike Martucci (SD 42) and Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (AD 98) to host a fund raiser for Warwick Valley VFW Post 4662 on Monday, Aug. 9, at Yesterdays in Warwick.
Neuhaus, Martucci and Brabenec served as guest bartenders at the event, which raised more than $3,000.
“The Warwick VFW has worked tirelessly to advocate and serve our veterans and these funds will help them assist with this mission,” Neuhaus said. “The VFW’s passion for serving these men and women is evident in everything they do. They often work behind the scenes but Post 4662 deserves recognition for their great work.”
“Our obligation to our men and women in uniform does not end when their service does, and the Warwick VFW is shining example of that commitment,” said Martucci. “As responsible citizens, it is our duty to support local organizations that help our veterans, like Post 4662, continue their mission. Last night, we saw a community come out in droves to do so, and I am proud to have played in small part in it.”
The Warwick VFW is composed of wartime veterans who have been deployed overseas during times of conflict in the armed forces and is dedicated to honoring the fallen by serving the living.
“Our veterans deserve the very best always and I was proud to help raise money for the Warwick VFW,” Brabenec added. “As always, I thank our wonderful veterans for all they have done to make our country the best in the world.” Orange County.
