The Warwick Lions Club will hold its annual document shredding event on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The location is the Chase Bank South Street Parking Lot in the Village of Warwick (across the street from the Warwick Farmers Market location). Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
Participants are asked to remove binder clips (staples are OK); documents must be removed from file folders.
What won’t be shredded are books, magazines or junk mail with non-sensitive information.
There will also be eyeglasses and hearing aids collection; however, there will not be a pill drop.
The cost is $5 per banker box and proceeds will help support Warwick non-profits, children’s programs and Lions club international projects.
