On Saturday, Aug. 15, the Warwick Lions Club held its annual document shredding event in the Chase Bank South Street Parking Lot in the Village of Warwick.
There was also an eyeglass and hearing aid donation but not the usual pill drop.
The cost was $5 per banker box and approximately 1,500 pounds was collected.
The proceeds were used to help pay for the shredding truck but the annual document shredding is held as a community service rather than a fund raiser.
The Warwick Lions does support Warwick non-profits, children’s programs and the Lions club international projects.
