Warwick. Kayacking along Wawayanda Creek now open to the public

The picturesque Wawayanda Creek has been cleared and is now open to all kayackers from Wickham Lake in Wickham Woodlands Park, on the site of the former Mid Orange Correctional Facility, to Veterans Memorial Park in the Village of Warwick. That's about a five-mile trip and New York State law requires all kayackers to wear life preservers. The effort was the undertaking of Community2gether volunteers.
