On Tuesday, July 16, local officials and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Anthony Alfero and his wife, Ruth Fritsch, owners of the Warwick House of Antiques, for the grand re-opening of their new location at 12 Oakland Ave.

"When it came time to move because our lease was expiring," said Alfero, "we knew we wanted to stay in the Village of Warwick, where we have been in business for almost 13 years. So what better place to relocate than across the street from our original location to another beautiful stately restored Victorian home."

To showcase its antique and vintage furniture, art, jewelry, watches, pottery, crystal, ceramics, clocks, metal work, textiles, lighting and collectibles, the Warwick House of Antiques has four beautiful rooms with lots of nooks and crannies on the entire first floor of their new 12 Oakland Ave. location.

"With our large selection of quality items at very reasonable prices," said Fritsch, "the Warwick House of Antiques has something for everyone."

She explained that the shop has not only maintained its specialties in late 19th and early 20th Century and Asian furniture and arts but also has a large and eclectic selection of country and mid-century items as well.

"The Warwick House of Antiques is proud to be able to remain a member of the vibrant community of the Village of Warwick," said Alfero. "We are looking forward to many more years of business here."

The Warwick House of Antiques is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
