The Warwick Food Truck Festival has cancelled its June 2021 festival date after organizers determined that this is the best choice to protect the health and safety of the community.
The festival’s ability to open is strictly dependent upon COVID-19 procedures, and festival organizers are paying close attention to CDC and N.Y.S. reopening guidelines. Currently the state limits large outdoor gatherings to 500 people.
Larger events, including the food truck festival, must require proof of a vaccine or negative test from attendees in order to maintain compliance with the state. Organizers are expected to conduct the screening of patrons.
Festival organizers made the decision to remain closed in June, and will continue to monitor state reopening guidelines to determine its ability to open in July and August.
“I’m so disappointed to cancel our June date,” said organizer Tracy Gregoire. “We can’t wait to open again and bring our community together to enjoy family fun, delicious food and beverages, and great local music. We’ll continue to share updates and we hope to see you soon.”
