– Pennings Farm Cidery, 4 Warwick Turnpike, opened earlier this year, to serve its own hard cider along with a selection of New York State-produced craft beers and wines.
And now the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the holiday season at an after-hours business mixer at the cidery next Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Guests are invited to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals from around the region in a rustic holiday setting while relaxing around the spacious bar and enjoying a specialty hard cider.
A variety of heavy gourmet hors d'oeuvres will be served (cash bar available). And attendees will also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.
"We are so thankful to host the Chamber's holiday mixer," said Pennings Farm Cidery owner and cider maker Steve "SJ" Pennings Jr. "It's a great way to say thank you for being chosen by the Chamber as 'Best New Construction of the Year' and to make merry with members of our community."
Pennings Farm Cidery offers a generous variety of hard ciders on tap in their cheerful new Tap Room.
The custom built 12-tap system offers a lineup of nine Pennings own crisp and creative hard ciders, featuring seasonal flavors throughout the year.
Cider is available in pints, flights and growlers-to-go along with a rotating selection of New York State craft brews, some of which are produced with Pennings homegrown hops by local breweries.
New York State wines by the glass are also served.
The Pennings Farm Cidery is open on Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. throughout December. Hours change seasonally.
Cost to attend the Warwick Valley Chamber after-hours business mixer next Wednesday is $10 for members and their guests and $20 for non-members.
