Warwick Little League will hold a dedication ceremony celebrating the naming of Bobby Faulls Little League Field at Wickham Woodlands on Saturday, May 6, at 11 a.m., Bart Amatetti, the Director of Field Operations for Warwick Little League, announced.
In his weekly newsletter, Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton wrote the following for the occasion:
“Robert “Bobby” Faulls was a long time, dedicated Warwick Department of Public Works employee. Bobby lost his fight against a devastating illness a few years back. He was a dedicated employee, dad and husband who cared deeply for our Town where he grew up.
“Warwick Little League will be holding a dedication ceremony celebrating the naming of Bobby Faulls Field at Wickham Woodlands. Bobby was a lifelong Warwick resident and supporter of youth sports. He was instrumental in field prep every season.
“The Faulls Little League legacy spans well over forty years, starting with Bobby and his brothers in the 1970’s and continuing with Bobby’s sons, Robert and Matthew. I, along with Little League President, Rich DiConstanzo, and past Little League President and friend of Bobby Faulls, Bart Amatetti, will be giving remarks.”
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served in the pavilion immediately following the field dedication.
