The annual Senior BBQ has returned and will be held this year on Tuesday, Aug. 24. The rain date is Wednesday, Aug. 25.
Senior guests will be served hot dogs for lunch and then a complete chicken dinner, prepared by local chef Mike Coleman of Mike’s Custom BBQ.
The fun-filled day kicks off at 11 a.m. at the Town Park on Union Corners Road.
The popular event is free to any senior citizen in the town, but you need a ticket, which can be obtained through one of seven senior citizen organizations or by stopping by the Supervisor’s office in the Warwick Town Hall, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
