Troop 45 Eagle Scout candidate contributes two sled carts to Mount Peter Ski Patrol

WARWICK — For his Eagle Scout project, Robert Hunter of Troop 45 built two sled cars and a housing unit for the Mount Peter Volunteer Ski Patrol.
He worked on the project by fund raising, organizing and working as the coordinator of all phases of the project until the carts were completed.
He worked with Roger Showalter from Warwick, whom he contracted to build the sleds, transport devices and the housing unit.
Robert also communicated directly with Mike Meade from Ski Patroller and Micah O'Connor from Troop 45.
The sleds have been used throughout the 2013-14 winter season with great feedback from the Ski Patrol.
"They ensure a safe and comfortable ride for our patients," Mount Peter Ski Patrol Director Jim Mehling said. "It was a job well done."
Mehling also offered his thanks to Robert and Troop 45 of Warwick for this valuable contribution.
